ahh... *stretch* new work week... just 2 minutes late. commuting is really a bitch, especially on a Monday. man, you should see the sea of people at the northbound Sucat & Bicutan exits...

anyway, another round-up for the days that i didn't blog:

Thursday: still stuck inside the prod booth most of the day. after work, i asked my friends to watch "Once Upon A Time in Mexico" with me. the movie wasn't action-packed as Desperado, but i still liked the movie. there was this annoying person at our back who kept on going out of his seat in a hurry and getting back in a hurry as well, bumping the backs of our seats everytime he does it. and then he had the audacity to shout at someone using his cellphone! grrr.. i'd appreciate what he did if i wasn't already pissed at him, so i was already preparing to shout at him if he does it again... good thing he didn't.

Friday: wasn't stuck inside the prod booth _that_ much, 'coz i still had to do my countdown tabulations. [hah! friday _is_ my busiest day, remember?] oh well, i was ready to go home after work, but David asked me if i could join him in watching a movie, since he wasn't able to join us the day before. since i wanted to uniwnd as well, i joined him. we watched "Freddy vs. Jason". one comment about the movie: how the heck did it become "the No. 1 movie in America for 2 weeks" !?! i wasn't even scared... in fact, we were the only ones sniggering while the hack-fest was going on... we were a buncha weirdos...

Saturday: clean-up day at the office. i was an hour and a half late, but since i was going to spend the enitre day at the office anyway, i don't mind. [but i will when my next paycheck comes in... ] i got a new bag, shirt & a pair of socks [all Reebok! w00t!] 'coz of the promotion i joined. neat! after that, we went to Greenpark Badminton Center for what else, badminton! we finished at 10pm. so we bought food and came back here at the station 'coz Jojo hasn't finished cleaning his work area yet. but he drove us home anyway, so no biggie waiting for him to get done...

Sunday: slept away most of it. when i woke up later in the afternoon, it was raining. drat! i had to go to my cousin's place 'coz i had to get some stuff from him. good thing my kuya called and said they'll be dropping by for dinner. i got to borrow their car. heheheh! my temperamental compie acted up again. so i had to reinstall again! hmmm.... been like this since i changed from WinME... i'm now using WinXP Professional, [no WPA patch yet, 'coz i was alerady sleepy to search for one...] hope this one won't be as temperamental as the Home Edition... or else i'll be using Win2K Pro, since it is the most stable one to date.

welp, that wraps it up. does anyone else beside me read this shit!?! mag-comment naman kayo! please? tenksberimats!

i'll be spending most of my day inside the production booth here in the office 'coz i have a deadline to finish. [my entire fault 'coz i've been postponing doing it]

the right part of my left knee started to hurt on my way home last night. i dunno if it's 'coz of the walkathon i did monday morning, or just plain "rayuma". damn i'm getting _old_... *groans*

oh, speaking of going home last night, boy was i quick to the draw! as soon as the clock struck 6pm, i gathered my stuff, zipped by the bundy clock, and was out of the door in a matter of minutes. the reason i wanted to get out of here was 'coz my bosses were sooo eager to make me do more work than usual. [i tolja yesterday that i was gonna be busy for the rest of the day, ryt? well, as the saying goes: "when it rains, it friggin' pours like there's no tomorrow!" since i already did my share for the day, i wasn't in the mood to do more... besides, when i got home, i had to fix my temperamental compie. it kept on shutting down intermittently, so i had to reinstall everything again. [at least the friggin' WPA of WinXP won't bother me again... hahaahah! putting a fan beside the CPU didn't seem to do the trick, at least the HD's don't heat up as much...

woah! i'm here before 9am!!! w00t!!! wtf!?!

welp, seeing as i'll be busy for the rest of the week, i hope i'll still be alive to enjoy my weekend.... *sighs*

just had a great lunch... naparami nga ata yung dala kong baon kasi muntikan ko nang hindi maubos. it'd be a waste if i threw it away, so i just finished it all. most folks would say "ang takaw mo naman!" anong gusto 'nyong gawin ko?! alam ko maraming nagugutom na bata sa lansangan, pero tatanggapin ba nila yung tirang pagkain na ibibigay ko? saka paghahanapin mo ba ako ng batang gusgusin na pagibibigyan ng pagkain... eh sigurado namang pera ang hihingiin nung mga yun,kahit bigyan mo ng pagkain...

oh, i forgot to mention yesterday na nilakad ko ulet mula sa bahay ko hanggang sa Sucat exit ng South Super Highway. hindi na naman kasi gumagalaw yung traffic sa Sucat Road, and if i rode the jeep, i'd be more late than usual. and besides, i've gotten used to walking that stretch already... i just think of it as exercise.

this morning, i was running around here in the office doing some work... *whew* nakakapagod den... heheheh, at least i won't be _really_ idle today, and i think i'll be busy for the rest of the day.

hmmm... short summary again, since i'm a wee-bit lazy:

Wednesday: went to Makati with Jojo & David to unwind, ate @ Chili's Greenbelt, [where i had to have the food i ordered replaced 'coz it had a strand of hair on it!] played games @ Timezone GB3, then went home afterwards.

Thursday: went straight home, although i arrived 9pm, 'coz of heavy traffic. good thing i wasn't _that_ hungry, or else i would've died of hunger inside that bus... not funny at all.

Friday: all set to go home, when tropang OPG asked if they could come along... meaning, they wanted to crash to my place and hang out. so i said "yea, sure, y not?" we bought some some food & beer along the way, had some nice home-cooked dinner, [mejo bitin sila... heheh!] watched pDVD's, [2Fast, 2Furious & Bulletproof Monk] konting kwentuhan, then they left at around 2am.

Saturday: i wasn't _that_ late coming to work, eventhough i had that unexpected company. [under an hour late lang naman.. ] after work, i took a nap here @ the office, since i wasn't going home yet. tropang OPG was scheduled to play badminton @ the recently opened Greenpark Badminton Center. after playing, we crashed @ David's place. we had a great dinner, and we ended up watching a pDVD. [I Am Sam] we left his place at around 1:30am.

Sunday: in a few words, i pulled off a "Jason Mraz". [those who know me really well will understand what i mean when i use that term.] i also wasted away in front of the PC [surfing, watching animé] and the TV [watched a movie: "The Rookie" on Star Movies.].

and with that, i now resume my dreary life...

just had a refreshing bath, and i already changed my beddings, so i'll be ready to slumber as soon as the sleepy-head in me awakens... [i hope that made sense. ]

anyway, didn't get much work done at the office kanina, 'coz our server's proxy software was acting up again, so most of the workstations didn't have 'net connections. ugh... 'coz of that, i wasn't able to resume the queued "goodies"... oh well, hope it'll get fixed tomorrow.

i came home after attending the premiere of Hollywood Homicide tonight. the movie was boring, though i'm sure most of the ladies would only see the movie for Josh Hartnett & Harrison Ford...

off-topic random thought: isn't it sad when you miss a person, but that person doesn't miss you at all?

lessee... what did i did the past few days since i last blogged? /me scans last post for reference then looks at calendar hmmm... went home after work Wednesday & Thursday, [no badminton for me last week!] went out with college friends last Friday night/Saturday morning. oh, don't ask as to where we went... 'coz i won't tell! slept away my Saturday, [didn't get to go to work! damn....] went to Glorietta Sunday morning for the trade, then rearranged/reorganized my animé cds in the afternoon...

...and that's about it. now, i _need_ to work. [do i really need to??? *sigh*]

i'm actually doing a couple of things tonight: burning cds for an animé trade this weekend [haven't had one in about a month!], while still listening to The Lounge Story that i "borrowed" from my officemate [a great chill-out album... go get it!], while downloading some stuff off the 'net, [mp3s, mangas, and whatever's queued on Go!Zilla] and blogging as well! *whew* i'm basically beating up my compie... hope it doesn't conk out on me... *wishes _real_ hard* i need to buy a separate cooling fan for my CPU 'coz it heats up pretty fast now. [especially the HD's i attach/detach] *wonders when i can go to HMR to buy surplus fans*

speaking of my beloved, [my compie, that is] i'm not enjoying WinXP Home Ed, in terms of the 'net connection stuff. i can't maximize my connection, and i'm using a 56K modem with it. [my old ISA 33.6K modem gave me quite good speeds on WinME] maybe i'll give it a month. i still like how everything is shiny and the apps are really loading fast as against to WinME.

i've finally linked our HS Reunion webby, and it's steadily being updated weekly with new stuff... [piccies, articles, alumni updates] *points to the Links section on the right* hopefully some of our fellow alums can contribute new material and participate too... i wanted to "steal" the swf file that my friend make and put it here on my bloggie 'coz it's soooo cool! but i dunno if this bloggie can handle swf files... oh wellz... *shrugs*

oh, i finally got my hands on a copy of Linkin Park's latest album, Meteora over the weekend. but i only got to listen to it this morning while on my way to work and on my way home. [i set my cd walkman on repeat] aside from the already released tracks, [Somewhere I Belong, Faint & Numb] i also liked Breaking the Habit & Easier to Run. i liked the whole album, but not as much as their first one... [Hybrid Theory still r0x0rz! rawr!!] at least they didn't suffer the sophomore jinx. [i _refuse_ to believe that Reanimation was their 2nd album! ] i've yet to check the "enhanced" portions of the cd. some other time, maybe...

augh! if i had DSL connection, i prolly _will_ never get out of my room anymore! anyone out there care to donate 2,500 PHP every month to cover the rate?

it must be because of this "chill-out" album i'm listening to...

one of the most recent wishes that i want to be granted as soon as possible is that we have an efficient public transport system here in our country. [paging MMDA!!!] i'm sure i won't be the only happy commuter who'd want to have that... it's either that, or the price of oil to go down to affordable levels! [w/c is next to impossible! ]

my weekend can be summed up in one word: sleep! i've slept away most of my weekend, and my parents didn't mind it that much, since they knew i've been coming home late these past few days. i was able to do a few chores yesterday, so i guess that was the trade-off...

oh, it's September already... which means i can say this now: Merry Christmas!!! heheheh! for those who didn't know, here in our country, as soon as the "-ber" month comes, it's the unofficial start of the Christmas season. *sigh* will it be cold again this year? hmm...

i was an hour late for work today, [entirely my fault, btw] & i have sooo many things to do here at work, but this loneliness [plus the cold weather] is bringing me down... and because i don't want to be a bother to the one person i really want to talk to, i've got no one else to turn to.

nothing extraordinary is happening with my life right now, if anybody cares to know. just the usual stuff: work, fixing up my compie, playing badminton at least once a week, etc.

i haven't watched any animés for the past two weeks 'coz of the blank cd trade i did a few weeks ago, & 'coz i've been coming home late anyways, plus i'm still in the process of fixing up my compie.

who am i kidding!?! i'm feeling this way 'coz i'm still torn up about the incident that happened two weeks ago. i'm sure she's doing fine and had completely forgotten about it... as for stupid, overly-melodramatic me? well, see for yourself. *sigh* why am i still affected by it???
